St. Mary's Catholic Church
St. Mary's Catholic Church is one of the most beautiful churches in the Willamette Valley. The church's Benedictine heritage stretches back 135 years, due in part to its proximity to Mount Angel Abbey and the Sisters of Queen of Angels Monastery. I didn't set out to take this photograph. In fact, I was on my way to the Abbey and I happened to have my camera in the car. But when I saw this sunrise sky over the church I just had to hop out and try to get a photograph. I hope this print conveys to you what it does to me -- a sense of peace, yes, but also a sense of expectation. As a photographer as in life, I want to be on the lookout for Beauty, and be ready to respond when it finds me.

Limited edition prints come signed and numbered, and they are shipped in a presentation box along with a certificate of authenticity. Prints are made on gorgeous Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 white cotton paper. This museum-quality paper has a smooth matte finish and a lightly defined felt structure, lending the print added depth and a three-dimensional appearance (see example from my print “Vista House Sunrise”). Prints come with a white border to allow for signing and numbering, as well as to help with framing.
The image crop will vary based on the dimensions. Shown is the 11x14 print.
