White-breasted Nuthatch

Yesterday I went on a walk on a favorite trail to see what new birds were around. Sure enough, on basically our first sunny evening of the spring, I saw or heard nuthatches, orioles, robins, finches, ravens, hummingbirds, starlings, vultures, woodpeckers, and blackbirds. Though the light was still harsh, I grabbed a couple photos of this White-breasted Nuthatch. I’ll add a couple other photos of the same bird below.
